Renting a property for the winter in Marbella
Summer is notoriously busy on the Costa del Sol, and the summer of 2018 was certainly no different. While many families and friends enjoy the summer heat to get away from their 9 - 5 day jobs and school runs, others prefer a bit of peace and quiet.
Marbella is unique for its climate in Europe enjoying over 300 days of sun shine every year. It is for these reasons that many people choose to retire here for the winter months. The temperature is a perfect low to mid 20's Celsius and there are far fewer people and less road traffic. Its actually for those of us that live here year round the best time of year to enjoy the area.
The problem comes when trying to find property to rent for this winter period. Most landlords are looking for long term tenants just like any UK or other European contract, which is for 1 year with the option to renew if both parties agree.
At Marbella Long Term Rentals however, we have some few select owners that either use the properties themselves in the summer or are perhaps trying to sell their homes and as a result will have vacancies through the low season.
